Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) AGM Announcement

Nairobi – The Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) will hold its 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5th December 2020 as a private virtual event, hosted by the KATA Board and Secretariat, headquartered in Nairobi.

In light of the risk of the spread of coronavirus and the governments’ regulations/advice about avoiding gatherings, the Board of Directors has decided that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in a way that gives shareholders the greatest possible ability to exercise their voting rights by an online or by proxy. Tsavo Holiday

One of the oldest national parks in Kenya its heritage dates back to the early Stone Age from about 6000 to 1300 years. In its ancient caves holds early man creative art. The Tsavo is divided into two the east and the west. Tsavo has the largest larva flow known as the Yatta plateau which runs along western boundary of the park above the Athi River. The plateau was formed by Mt Ol Doinyo Sabuk.

Among the beautiful attractions are Lugard falls named after Frederick Lugard an explorer, is a series of white water rapids on the Galana River. Tsavo is also home to a large number of different wild life  like aardwolf, yellow baboon, bat, Cape buffalo, Senegal bushbaby. Over 500 bird species have been recorded in the area. Read More
