Day 1: Arrive Dubai

Arrive Dubai in the evening. Transfer to your preferred hotel in the heart of Dubai for the next three nights!

Day 2 & 3: Dubai

Breakfast included at the hotel. 9:30 a.m. Morning tour of ancient Dubai, including the old buildings at Bastakiah, the Dubai Museum, the Gold Market, the Spice Market, Dubai Old Town, and of course, the obligatory ride on the abras (ancient ferry boats) across Deira Creek.

Lunch on your own, free time.

Late afternoon we will go on a desert safari in the big sand dunes east of Dubai, followed by sunset dinner in a Bedouin Camp with camel rides, belly dancing and Arab crafts.

Overnight at your preferred hotel.

Day 4: Dubai Metro

Breakfast included at the hotel. We will do some exploring using the stunning new Dubai Metro. We'll start with a visit to the Dubai Mall – the world's largest mall – at the base of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

We will take the elevator to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa for stunning views out over Dubai and of the many 'tiny' skyscrapers far below us. Continue to the Mall of the Emirates where they have indoor, downhill skiing – anyone game to try? We'll walk through the Dubai Marina district and give you a chance to do a little swimming in the Persian Gulf!

Day 5: Dubai Tour

Breakfast included at the hotel. 9:30 a.m. Morning tour of Modern Dubai with its exotic architecture and outrageous space-age projects. We'll start with a visit to the lovely Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, then drive out onto the Jumeirah Palm Islands and make a stop at the Atlantis Hotel, the Dubai Marina, the Medinat Souk, and much more.

Lunch will be an elegant High Tea included at the famous 7-star hotel, the Burj al Arab. This will surely be a highlight of your tour! Overnight at your preferred hotel.

Day 6: Oman tour

Khasab, Oman tour from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Half Day Mountain Safari Khasab is a tiny enclave of Oman on the top of the Arabian Peninsula. It was built by the Portuguese in the 17th Century and is dubbed the 'Norway of Arabia'!

Our Safari to Harim Mountain will takes us through stunning scenery as we make our way to over 5,000 feet above sea level. We will conclude with a stunning panorama of one of the fjords off the gulf!

Day 7: Muscat, Oman

Arrive 9:00 a.m and at 9:30 a.m experience a half-day tour of this ancient city. We will visit the mosque, the ancient souk (market), and the Sultan’s Palace. Overnight at your preferred hotel in Muscat, Oman.

Day 8: Muscat, Oman

Free day in Muscat. Spend more time shopping in the famous souk (market), or book a tour with the shore excursion office and explore the wild desert regions of Oman.

Day 9:

Day at Sea. Relax on the ship or take part in the many activities aboard.

Day 10: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Explore Abu Dhabi with our half-day tour of the Capital of the United Arab Emirates. This tour features the Grand Mosque, one of the most stunning architectural wonders of the world. We will visit the city center as well as the Heritage Village, Yas Island and Ferrari World.

Overnight at your preferred hotel.

Day 11: Dubai

One more full day in Dubai. Today we will visit Dubai’s latest incredible attraction, the Miracle Garden with over 45 million flowers! Continue to the neighboring Emirate of Sharjah for a tour of the main sights, and time for shopping in the Grand Souk!

For those not going to Jordan for the Petra Extension, you may take late night flights home, or stay overnight and have one more day on your own, before flying home Monday night.

Day 12: Departure

After breakfast, depart for the airport for your flight back home.
