This tour takes you to Masai Mara which is known as one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, situated in southwest Kenya and is part of the northern section of the Serengeti National Park. Famous for the abundance of the big cats, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress.

Tour Lake Nakuru National Park which lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Explore Lake Baringo in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley which is a dramatically situated freshwater lake approximately 22 km long by 11 kms wide. Evidence of its violent volcanic origins is all around, and especially in the extraordinary stepped basalt cliffs to the West of the lake. The Lake is home to hippos and crocodiles as well as an abundance of colourful birds and small reptiles. Giraffe and other grazers are also present to the north of the lake.

You will also tour Lake Bogoria National Reserve which covers 107 km sq and is easily reached from either through Nakuru or Lake Baringo. The reserve is most famous for its flamingo population, its strange and quite stunning scenery and the presence of the rare Greater Kudu. It is better to visit the Lake either in the early morning or late evening, as it is fiercely hot at midday and so staying in the area is probably the best option.

Finally, tour Zanzibar which is located approximately 35 kilometers off the coast of Tanzania in the Indian ocean, and about 72 kilometers north of Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar Island is endowed with some of the most stunning beaches in the world. The island has more than 30 pristine beaches that leave holidaymakers spoilt for choice during their Zanzibar holiday. These include Nungwi, arguably the best beach in Zanzibar, Mangapwani, Matemwe, Pwani Mchangani, Kiwengwa and many others.

Day 1: Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) - City Hotel

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be warmly received by a Silverbird Tour representative and then be transferred to a 5- star city hotel (Serena Hotel or similar). You will be able to enjoy the hotel facilities including dining options.

Day 2: Nairobi â€“ Masai Mara Game Reserve

You will be picked up at 0700 hrs and be driven via the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve where you will arrive in time for lunch. During this journey, you will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret and Mt. Suswa. Your accommodation will be at the Mara Sopa Lodge or a similar accommodation.

At 1600 hrs there shall be an afternoon game drive till dusk after which you will return to the lodge to have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve

At 0600hrs you will do an early morning game drive in the Mara and then return to the camp at 0830 hrs for breakfast. Thereafter you will relax until the afternoon when lunch will be served. After lunch at 1530 hrs you will proceed for an afternoon game drive until dusk and then return to the camp for dinner and the night.

(NB: instead of an early morning game drive, you have an option to do a balloon flight which starts at 5 am in the morning â€“ but this is an optional activity costing extra. Should you require a balloon flight, please let us know).

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After having breakfast at the lodge you will leave the Maasai Mara Game Reserve at 0800hrs and drive towards the Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park till sunset when you will head back to the lodge for dinner and to rest for the night.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park â€“ Lake Baringo

You will have a full buffet breakfast at the lodge and after this you will be driven to Lake Baringo where you will arrive at the Island Camp in the early afternoon in time for a delicious lunch. After lunch you can spend the afternoon relaxing to enjoy the camp's facilities or sample the optional activities available at the camp. Later in the evening you will have dinner at the camp and then rest for the night.

Day 6: Lake Baringo â€“ Lake Bogoria National Reserve

You will have a delicious buffet breakfast at the Camp and after this you will be driven to The Lake Bogoria National Reserve where you will arrive at the Lake Bogoria Spa Resort in time to enjoy a tasty buffet lunch.Â After lunch you will proceed for a game drive around Lake Bogoria until sunset when you will return back to the lodge for dinner and to rest for the night.

Day 7: Lake Bogoria National Reserve â€“ Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) â€“ Zanzibar

There will be a morning Breakfast at the Lake Bogoria Spa resort. Thereafter you will be driven to Nairobi where you are expected to arrive before lunch. You shall make your own arrangements for lunch. On arrival in Nairobi you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar.

Once you arrive in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to your preferred hotel for your stay.

Day 08 â€“ Day 11: Zanzibar

You can use these days in Zanzibar to relax or explore the various activities offered by the lodge as well as to sample the sights and sounds of Zanzibar. Daily excursions throughout Zanzibar Town and Island can be organized through Silverbird Travel at an extra fee. Offering a range of marine activities ranging from Beach Volleyball, Pedal boats, canoes to daily snorkeling trips to the lagoon by boat, windsurfing and sailing.

Dinner and overnight at preferred hotel.

Day 12: Zanzibar â€“ Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport)

You will have breakfast at The Breezes hotel and afterwards you can spend your time enjoying the hotel facilities as well as preparing to depart. You will then have lunch at the hotel and afterwards you will be transferred to the the airport for your onward flight to Nairobiâ€™s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

On arrival at Nairobiâ€™s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be able to connect to your flight home.

2. Meet and Greet service by our local representatives at J.K.I.A Airport.
3. Roundtrip transfers airport / hotel in Kenya.
4. Accommodation and Meals as indicated above.
5. 1-litre bottled mineral water per person per day whilst on safari.
6. Services of a professional English speaking driver guide.
7. Game drives, Accommodation, sightseeing and excursions as described in the itinerary.
8. Applicable local and government taxes on accommodation and transportation.
9. Temporary membership to Emergency Medical Evacuation Service whilst on safari.
