Day 1: Hwange National park
Arrive at Victoria Airport be transferred to Hwange National park.After you have settled into your tent you will have a late lunch. You may choose to go on a game drive later in the afternoon and have sun downers and canapés by one of the waterholes. Upon your return from the game drive and sun-downers, dinner will be served in your preferred camp site.
Day 2: Full day safari in Hwange National Park
You start your day with an early morning game drive and walk in Hwange National Park’s acacia forests surrounding Ngamo Plains. Upon your return to Bomani, a hearty brunch will be served. Most likely you will enjoy a siesta after having gotten up rather early. In the afternoon a high tea will be served before commencing another game drive.
Once back at the lodge you can refresh and have cocktails and snacks around the campfire with a 3-course dinner to follow in the main lodge area.
Day 3: Full day safari in Hwange National Park
Again an early morning all day trip into the park on our one of a kind ‘pump run’, with a picnic and siesta under the trees at Mfagazaan Pan. Imvelo’s trademark pump runs combine game viewing in remote areas of the park with practical hands-on conservation. You can assist (if you like) the guide with day-to-day maintenance at the borehole pumps which are the heartbeat of Hwange National Park and its wildlife. Leisurely afternoon game drive back to the lodge going from pan to pan, weaving our way between the throngs of jostling elephant that comes pouring in for the fresh water. It makes for a fun, memorable and extremely rewarding day.
Day 4: Road transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport
Today you can enjoy a morning village visit and school tour at Ngamo Village or a tour of the Imvelo Community projects for a couple of hours before returning back to the lodge for a breakfast. After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight.
