Come participate with competitors from all over the world and enjoy Africa\u2019s most breath-taking scenery. Through the partnership of Safaricom Ltd, Tusk Trust and the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, the event has grown from 180 runners in 2000 raising $50,000 to 1000 runners in 2012 raising $574,000.<\/p>\n<p>Since the inaugural marathon in 2000, US$3.8m has been raised for a wide range of projects.
