Day 1:
Arrive to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2-3:
Meet your guide who will be with you throughout your safari and continue through spectacular countryside to Tarangire National Park. Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. Accommodation is at Maramboi Tented Camp, with breathtaking views of Manyara National Park, Rift Valley and Ngorongoro highlands. Enjoy bush walks, game drives in Tarangire by four wheel, or drive via Land Cruiser (with pop up roof hatches for easy viewing and photography) for sundowners on the shore of Lake Manyara.

Day 4-5:
After breakfast you continue on your adventure with the option to stop at Karatu town for a guided walk at a local market and shops. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Farm House late afternoon, situated in the Ngorongoro Highlands. On your second day in this area you will enjoy a day’s game viewing in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch.

Day 6-8:
Continue to the Serengeti wilderness, with an optional stop along the way at Olduvai Gorge for a personal tour of the local Masai Village. The Serengeti is one of the world’s last great wildlife refuges and holds the greatest and most diverse concentration of wildlife remaining in Africa today. Your Hemingway-style mobile safari camp is located in the heart of the migration path. This authentic safari allows you to experience the Serengeti the way the old explorers did. Enjoy game drives during the day and sitting around the campfire for sundowners at night, sharing your bush stories of the day while dinner is prepared for you.

Day 9-11
You return by air to Arusha, connecting to Nairobi and your final destination, the Masai Mara, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. Your tent has a private deck with sweeping views of the greatest grassland system on earth, the Masai Mara. This camp was chosen with the migration in mind to ensure you have the best possible position in the Mara to enjoy this spectacle. Enjoy daily game drives and the option to take a hot air balloon ride over the Mara plains above the millions of zebra &wildebeest – a sight not to be missed! (Hot air balloon at additional cost).

Day 12:
Return to Nairobi by air for your flight home.
